SMPU

SMPU is a MHRA licensed and regulated pharmaceutical specials manufacturer, and provide a range of medicines and pharmaceutical services for our patients and customers worldwide. We develop novel patient treatments from an initial concept, or formulations for a special clinical need such as a new procedure or for patient safety.

As part of the NHS family, and our larger organisation Cardiff and Vale University Health Board, we are committed to enhancing the quality assurance of our products for our patients and customers, optimising the use of current technology and leading with new methods research to do this.

Please note: upcoming change to our pricing structure.

Due to the ongoing inflationary pressures affecting the cost of goods and services, we will be implementing a price increase on all orders fulfilled from and including the 29th of May 2025. This decision has not been made lightly, and we have made every effort to minimise the impact on our customers. This adjustment is necessary to continue providing the high-quality products and services you have come to expect from us. The new pricing will help us to maintain our standards. We will keep you updated on any more updates to our pricing in the future.
